Rogan Brown
New worlds
Rogan Brown sculpts with paper, creating intricate organic structures inspired by both scientific imagery and direct observation of nature. The complexity and diversity of the natural world can be glimpsed in the scale and sheer volume of all the infinitesimally small cuts from which each sculpture is made.
Merging science and science fiction, Brown’s surreal experiments open our eyes to the invisible worlds that surround us and show us their mystery, fragility and transience.
Rogan Brown was born in 1966 in London. He lives between South of France and England.
