Nathalie Naggar
Nathz : enigmatic apparitions
Nathalie Naggar, known as Nathz, captures suspended moments, mysterious atmospheres where her enigmatic characters evolve in a solitude imbued with poetry. Shadow and light intersect in perspectives, creating scenes of singular intensity.
Nathz’s work was initially marked by vibrant and luminous colors. His pictorial universe evolved after a personal upheaval, tinging his work with a new gravity. The world of Edward Hopper gradually established itself in this introspective approach, offering an ideal echo to his disturbing appearances. The colors have darkened. His paintings have become more intimate, revealing a recurring feminine presence, a persistent silhouette which finds refuge in each new composition, like a sign of destiny.
Born to a recognized painter father, Nathz is also a press cartoonist.
She lives and works in Paris.
