David Mansot
Cabins maker
David Mansot builds miniature sheds which are so many stories to tell. Tree huts are made up of recycled objects or made from almost nothing, bits of string, odds and ends. As the bird builds its nest, little by little, the former interior designer imagines little houses sheltered from the world and outside of time, with objects haphazardly gleaned. Both poetic and reassuring, they embody the ideal refuge, a simple way of life, in harmony with nature. Its little tree huts are made for reading, observing, dreaming and finding oneself.
Trained as a cabinetmaker, David Mansot was born in 1972.He lives and works in an old mountain house, in the Monts du Beaujolais.
